Where To Be In June 2026: Birmingham for Sloss Tech

As a tech reporter, I am always asking what tech-related events people in the ecosystem finds most useful.

Last year, I kept hearing that Birmingham’s Sloss Tech conference was the place to be.

Sloss Tech is back on the calendar from June 24 to 26, 2026 at venues across Birmingham’s downtown area. This year, Sloss Tech will have all the staples you expect from a tech event, including a pitch competition, panels, and startup showcases. But it will also have keynotes from leaders of household tech names, including:

• Jimmy Wales, Alabama native and co‑founder of Wikipedia
• Everette Taylor, CEO of Kickstarter
