With New Investment, Untapped Solutions Launches Purpose-Built AI to Nonprofits and Social Services
The mission-aligned CRM, formerly ConConnect, is automating case management for organizations serving justice-impacted and marginalized communities.
Andre Peart founded ConConnect in 2020 to help formerly incarcerated individuals access jobs and support services through technology. Five years later, the company, now rebranded as Untapped Solutions, has evolved its mission.
Today, its AI-powered platform helps a wider population, including nonprofits, workforce agencies, and government organizations serving vulnerable populations.
To scale, Untapped Solutions recently secured a $515,000 investment from the the Richard King Mellon Foundation, one of the 50 largest foundations in the world, to accelerate development of its recently redesigned platform.
“For too long there’s been a gap in the market forcing community-based organizations to use traditional customer relationship management platforms that were built for business. While these solutions are mainly built to drive revenue, Untapped Solutions is built to drive impact,” said Peart. “With the relaunch of our platform and new AI agents, we’re delivering a first-of-its-kind system that pairs human service expertise with intelligent automation to transform how nonprofits and government agencies operate.”

The reality is that organizations working with marginalized communities have been forced to adapt business-focused CRMs like Salesforce into their workflows. But these platforms weren't designed for case management, client advocacy, or the specialized reporting requirements of nonprofits and government agencies.
Traditional CRMs often fail to address the unique workflows, specific reporting needs, and client engagement challenges of nonprofits and case workers. Untapped Solutions is designed for frontline staff, offering features like automated referrals, specialized outcome tracking, and client-facing tools unavailable on generalist platforms,” Peart told Hypepotamus. “Our AI agents — such as the AI Social Worker, AI Caseworker, and Workforce Coach — are core to this, automating administrative tasks across healthcare and employment to free up staff to focus on community members most in need.”

The relaunched platform introduces AI agents purpose-built for social work, including an AI Social Worker that automates case notes, assessments, case plans, workflows, referrals, and reporting.
On average, the team says that frontline case managers using Untapped save 8-12 hours per week by automating routine documentation and administrative tasks. But instead of replacing human caseworkers, the platform extends their capacity for the person-centered, relational work that drives real outcomes.
Untapped has also released a new AI Life Assistant for community users that helps justice-impacted, homeless, youth, and marginalized individuals navigate jobs, services, programs, and opportunities.
"We ensure the AI supports real-world workflows and enhances human connection rather than replacing it," Peart said.
