Between the dirty dishes that never unstack or the birthday card that's never delivered on time, life seems to get more hectic as we get older. And while we can't all have a live-in butler like the Banks family, the future is looking a little brighter (and cleaner) with our new favorite chore-tackler-in-grime, Thanks Geoffrey.

Thanks Geoffrey is a trustworthy, affordable butler service that frees you from the dust and gives you time to focus on what’s really important (like sticking to your gym routine). We recently spoke with founder, Michael Patrick, to find out how they tackle tasks for everyday folks like you and me for under $40 a week.

"It is a shared butler service for busy people that is affordable and attainable for everyone. We call it 'shared' because you need an hour of a butler's time instead of an eight full hour day," said Patrick (pictured). "The key to the service is to allow clients do more things through an assistant who is thoughtful. We hire smart Geoffreys, who are used to thinking ahead to prompt clients for other services they may need."

Before launching into entrepreneurship, Patrick got his start as a financial advisor with little to no time on his hands for errands. In a quest to find a service outside of a traditional concierge, Patrick came up empty-handed and did what any (truly inspired) man desperate to keep everyday drudgeries at bay would do - create a company that could help pick up the slack.

"ThanksGeoffrey is a trust company," said Patrick. "Our Geoffreys are selected very carefully. Particularly, our goal is to recruit former teachers, who have been vetted by the state, understand planning, and are good with kids and families."

The service works much like the a trash service. For "The Standard," you pick one day a week for a Geoffrey to come to your home and help with chores ranging from taking out trash and washing dishes, to mailing packages and coordinating home repairs. With extra time after chores, the Geoffrey will help with small tasks like buying a gift for an upcoming baby shower. And just in case you need extra help, you can receive the "White Glove Service" for $68 per week. This includes two visits to your home with services like grocery shopping, automatically restocking pantry staples, and following up with service work from vendors.

"Thanks Geoffrey allows people to take back the time they would normally spend on chores and errands and use it towards accomplishing goals whether they be personal or professional. We all hear the phrase "live, work, play," but with a Geoffrey, you have more time to live and play."
