Pakathon is a global movement with a mission to connect entrepreneurs, researchers and technologists from developing countries to those around the world. They are calling for engineers, designers, marketers and strategists for their second annual synchronous startup weekend. Participating teams will create a business plan over the weekend under the mentoring of experienced entrepreneurs. Teams will have the opportunity to work with participants in all other hosting locations.
The focus this year is on Pakistan as a representation of the developing world. The ideas can be generalized to almost all the developing countries of that region.
