Largest ATL Tech Company You’ve Never Heard of Pushes Front & Center
The countdown to the official launch of SUPPLY.com (formerly National Builder Supply) is officially over. It is here to disrupt the archaic plumbing industry, as “the largest Atlanta tech company you’ve never heard of.” While this rebrand may seem like an overnight success, it is years in the making (in addition to 5 years of persistently coaxing of a Californian who owned the domain). Hype wanted to know what fueled the explosive success of this $72M company and where the rocket ship is headed next, so we sat down with Co-Founder/CEO Marcus Morgan, Director of UX Matt Hobbs, and Content Strategist Carey Tucker to get the scoop.
“We saw this huge opportunity, but our brand (National Builder Supply) didn’t match the opportunity we envisioned. That’s when we found a new name, SUPPLY.com,” stated Morgan. “The construction industry hasn’t embraced e-commerce because so much of what contractors and designers do depends on relationships. Plumbing and lighting products are highly technical, so pros need someone on the inside to help answer questions.”

“People are leaving jobs at large, established Atlanta companies to come work with us,” said Morgan. “All the ingredients for a badass company are here.” Stay up-to-date with SUPPLY.com by following them on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. SUPPLY.com is currently seeking developers, analysts, creatives, and account managers. View career opportunities.
