StartupPoint Launches Nationwide to Spur Local Entrepreneurship
StartupPoint's mission is to help communities increase the success rate of their startups and small businesses via an interactive website application that enables communities of all sizes to map and connect local resources with startups and small businesses.
The map offers a localized meeting point where entrepreneurs can locate the resources they need, including money, networks and professional services. StartupPoint allows users to find information using both a physical (GIS) map and an interactive directory of resources that is searchable by categories (support, networks, money, space, and people) & keywords (such as: training, counseling, incubators, accelerators, community groups.) Within the mapping application, users can add or amend data to the application so information remains accurate and relevant.
