The Online Dressing Room
Launched by Buckhead resident Sarah Crossman Sullivan and Sandy Springs resident Jamie Pennington (two longtime friends) SeeItFit was born out of a desire to streamline the online shopping experience.
How it works: upload a photo of yourself to the website, shop for clothing, and create a virtual outfit using your photo so that you can decide how it looks on you before you make the purchase.
No mannequins, no dark dressing rooms, no returns.
The Scoop:
- Launched in November 2013
- Have partnerships with over 40 clothing retailers-including Zara, Under Armour, Lord and Taylor, and Banana Republic
- Outfits can be shared with others via Facebook, Pinterest, and email
- Smartphone app is coming soon
- Offered a $1,000 holiday shopping spree contest for users in December 2013
