Meet the dedicated Project Strategist, Anne Herron

Anne Herron is a recent Nashville agency owner turned Georgia startup employee. She brings her organizational talent to Alii Healthcare, which is revolutionizing the healthcare system by connecting patients and doctors via their mobile phones. Unlike the typical software company, Alii's office is female dominated with  7 women and only 5 men on the team. We're excited to see Anne add to that ratio.

Herron is a top-notch Project Strategist, post-it addict, and someone we can woo to help plan community events in the ecosystem (she's the co-founder of the Nashville Start-up Conference). Check out her profile below and approach her about an awesome community event to plan.

What’s your current role?
Project Strategist - my role is to see that our product is as great as the physicians with whom it connects you.

What startup/tech projects have you worked on?
For the past 7 years I have owned a non-agency focused on Startups between 1 and 6 years all over the United States (and one in Paris!)

What tech/tools are essential to you?
Just about every Apple device, loads of software and Post-it notes.

How do you stay connected with your network?
Tech events, Twitter and my iPhone.

How do you stay informed & on top of emerging trends?
I read. And thank goodness for Hypepotamus and Trish, whom I credit with leading me to Alii. Technology moves quickly. It's impossible to consume all the great content out there, so sometimes my bites come in 140 characters!

Why do you think you gravitated to Atlanta's startup ecosystem (or startups in general)?
I gravitated back to the South where I was born. Technology is a passion of mine and startups have been a huge part of that since I started my agency, even co-founding Nashville Start-up Conference.
