Where you gain your insights from and how you stay on top of emerging trends: We gain our insights and stay on top of emerging trends by research and interacting directly from the customers in our niche market and focus groups. We have done presentations at college campuses and we stay connected to our focus groups to understand what their needs and demands are so that we can better serve them with our product. Working with young entrepreneurs has helped us tremendously, as well. For instance, we worked with a very intelligent developer from Georgia State, Jovonni Pharr, for the revamping of List-A-Trade. It was very beneficial because not only did he have the creativity and intelligence, since he was in college he also had a very good understanding of the current technology trends that college students are gravitating towards.

We are also a client of Chevon Hines Enterprises, a business consulting company focused on educating and providing networking connections and resources for upcoming entrepreneurs. Chevon Hines Enterprises (CHE) connects a lot of ambitious, rising entrepreneurs in the Atlanta area to an extensive network of resources and information through referrals, volunteering opportunities, consulting sessions, networking events, and meetups. Fellow rising entrepreneurs meet to discuss emerging trends and our current ventures.

What's unique about your company culture:
We are open to working with a lot of entrepreneurs at the growth and startup stages. In the past, we have also allowed college students to intern with us and gain experience in their field and use us a reference. We feel this is very important because it allows college students an opportunity to gain some experience before they enter the workforce. There is a lot of young, talented individuals that many people aren't aware of, and we feel List-A-Trade is one of the few companies willing to work with young talent and expose them to the public. We understand the competitive nature of business but we also view our business as a way to help others gain success, as well.
