Dan Settembrini is in Atlanta this weekend to attend Startup Weekend at Coke. He is interested in joining a startup and relocating from Florida to our fair city.  Review his portfolio, read more about him below and then offer Dan an opportunity worth moving for.

What’s your current role?
I have previously worked for three years at a production company in Jacksonville, FL, but am currently a freelance video editor and motion graphic designer.

What startup/tech projects have you worked on?
OnPoint Vehicle Inspection / ATL / Graphic Designer
I created the logo for my brother's startup company he helped start a few years ago called OnPoint Vehicle Inspection. OnPoint is focused sharply on its mission to change the way cars are bought and sold by addressing the problem of information asymmetry in the used car marketplace. By becoming an advocate and provider of quality pre-purchase (and pre-sale) vehicle inspections and providing other useful tools to our customers, they hope to make the used car market a friendlier, safer, and overall more enjoyable place.

What are your best technical or creative skills?
Editing, simply because I love storytelling. I've loved films since I was a child, and have been creating videos with my friends since I can remember. I had exclusively only edited with Final Cut Pro 7, but learned Adobe Premiere a few years ago when Apple unveiled Final Cut Pro X.

What’s next on your list to learn?
I have previously worked on different commercials that feature 2D character animation and loved it. A couple years ago, I started animating a YouTube series called The Art School. It's really an exercise not only in character animation, but scripting, sound and character design.

Why the interest in Atlanta startups?
I love the innovation, drive and creativity that's involved with startups. The process of turning an idea into reality. My brother Nathan (@natebrini) and I will be on a team during Startup Weekend and I couldn't be more excited!

What’s your ideal internship/job?
I am very versatile, with skills in editing video, graphic design and motion media. Ideally, I'd love to be able to use all my skills whenever they are needed.
