Funding News

  • Nashville-based GlassHouse.biz, a customer intelligence platform for the trades and home services industries, raised a $2.7 million seed round, according to Crunchbase.
  • Knoxville, Tennessee-based Starseer, a startup building enterprise-ready technologies that ensure AI systems are transparent and secure, raised a $2 million seed round from Gula Tech Adventures.
  • Atlanta-based supply chain company ketteQ riased a $8.7 million venture round, per Crunchbase.

Acquisition News

Memphis-based Anycreek, a booking and business management platform for guided outdoor experiences that we featured as a startup to watch in 2025, announced it has acquired Origin. Alex Fletcher, Co-founder and former CEO of Origin, will remain involved as an advisor as the companies integrate. More details here.

Atlanta-based supply chain company GearTrack by COX2M has been acquired by another Atlanta-based company Cognosos, a provider of AI-powered real-time location solutions. More details available here.

Atlanta-based fintech startup Ditch announced a new partnership with Yendo, the Dallas, Texas-based credit card backed by vehicle equity. More details here.

Atlanta Based MSys Technologies, a global leader in Infrastructure Engineering and Digital Transformation, has officially rebranded as Aziro.

Avalara, the tax software company that relocated to North Carolina, filed for IPO this week.

Atlanta-based HealthTech startup Art Pharmacy announced a new partnership with the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) in partnership with the Thomas S. Kenan Institute for the Arts. The school is joining its network of educational institutions as the first arts conservatory to offer its social prescription to students to address well-being beginning in the fall 2025 semester.

Over in Birmingham, Alabama, gener8tor and Grow Southeast Alabama announced a new partnership to launch the Alabama Forestry Accelerator. Details are still emerging, but following along for more announcements here.
