Funding News
Atlanta-based InsurTech startup Sola, which started at Georgia Tech, raised a $8 million Series A round. Hypepotamus' feature here.
Tennessee-based InsurTech startup Elysian raised a $6 million, per Axios.
Miami-based FinTech Dispatch raised an $18 million Series A, according to Crunchbase.
South Carolina-based ThreatCaptain, a cybersecurity startup, raised a $750,000 pre-seed round, per Crunchbase.
AI-focsed startup Laborup, which recently moved from San Francisco to Nashville, recently raised a $5.8 million seed round.
Acquisition News
Durham, North Carolina-based Bionic Health, a startup founded in 2022 which provides AI-driven preventive care plans, has been acquired by Thrive, a Raleigh-based telehealth company. GrepBeat has the details.
