Birmingham, Alabama-based Auditocity (HRTech): $2 million seed round
Anderson, South Carolina SiteLabs (HealthTech): $2 million seed round
Raleigh, North Carolina-based Atlantic Fish Company (AgTech): $1.2 million seed round
Starkville, Mississippi-based CampusKnot (EdTech): $1.1 million venture round
Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based Lamatic (PaaS/SaaS): $510k seed round
Acquisition News
Wilmington-based tech Web3 startup Raleon is being acquired by Intuit Mailchimp, according to a LinkedIn post from CEO Nathan Snell. No financial details were disclosed and Snell declined an interview regarding the details of the acquisition.
Investor News
There's a new angel fund in Atlanta. ATL TrailblazHER Angels is a women-led angel group with a mission to expand Atlanta's entrepreneurial ecosystem. (We've added them to our ongoing list of Southeast-based investors).

- Louisiana Economic Development (LED) has launched a statewide innovation event series aimed at connecting entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders, educators, and policymakers across the state. It is the largest direct investment in entrepreneurship programming in the state to date, according to New Orleans City Business newspaper.
