What is International Big Data Week? It’s a weeklong series (May 5-11) of independently hosted events organized locally in a few cities chosen as a platform to educate, inform and inspire a global community of data scientists, business executives, technologists, data visualizers and data businesses. Atlanta’s schedule of events is posted here, and will continue to grow as more community members get involved. Hype's ecommerce school that week will be based on big data & ecommerce- stay tuned for details.

The festival connects cities around the world such as Berlin, San Francisco and London, through locally hosted events designed to provide a variety of topics, industry-specific use cases, expertise levels, best practices, and more. For the second year in a row, Emcien was selected to bring Big Data Week to Atlanta.
