Back in Business: Startup Riot 2015
After a hiatus in 2014, Startup Riot is back March 4th, 2015 at Terminal West. This event draws in around 500 attendees to watch 30 startups pitch their hearts out for 3 minutes.
Are the startup companies that present the real deal? Well, Startup Riot alumni have raised & exited for more than $667 million. Hot damn.
Apply to Present.Want to be one of the 30 presenting startups? There's an early deadline of December 15, 2014 and a late deadline of January 15, 2015. Applications are judged in order of arrival so for the best chance, apply early. The first place company wins a $5,000 investment and a 30 minute meeting with Hiten Shah.

Startup Riot is open to all investors (institutional, corporate, and angels), entrepreneurs, and companies looking for partnerships and/or M&A opportunities. Also welcome are individuals representing government, academic, and non-profit organizations that support or seek to support entrepreneurs.

Dan Benjamin "is a broadcaster, writer, software developer, designer, and ex-corporate stooge. He is the founder of 5by5, an Internet broadcasting and podcast network where he hosts a handful of shows with people like Merlin Mann, John Siracusa, Marco Arment, and Jeffrey Zeldman.
He is the author of Bacon Method and Hivelogic, and has written for A List Apart and O’Reilly. Many of Dan's screencasts live at PeepCode. He has been coding for almost two decades, making things like the Email Address Enkoder, the A List Apart CMS, the 5by5 CMS, co-founding Cork’d, and creating Playgrounder. The latter two have since been acquired by Gary Vaynerchuk and Uncrate, respectively."
