7 Atlanta Startups On the Road to 36|86 Pitch Event in Nashville
36|86 does not only symbolize the latitude and longitude for the city of Nashville, TN: it also is the name of a pitch event created by Launch Tennessee in their pursuit to find and support promising startups. Featuring 36 of the Southeast’s hottest startups along with 40 speakers, you do not want to miss out on the chance to engage with so many bright and inventive thinkers.
About 36|86:
Over the course of three days (June 8-10), the selected 36 companies (referred to as “Village 36”) will pitch to an audience of founders and investors representing companies like Eventbrite, Uber, Entrepreneur Magazine, TechCrunch, Write2Market, The Iron Yard and many more. Attendees have the chance to not only watch the pitches, but also to network with professionals during breaks, engage in Q&A panels with Corporate Venture Capitalists, and we hear there is even a whiskey tasting? Sounds like our kind of event.
A couple of interesting things to look for: the keynote with Julia Hartz, Co-Founder and President of Eventbrite and the fireside chat with Lon Binder, CTO of Warby Parker.
36|86 serves as a chance to explore who and what is up-and-coming in the Southeast. Launch Tennessee has selected companies who are making big impacts in areas like mobile technology, music, travel, IT, data science, delivery systems and even neurology.
The Companies Representing Atlanta:
An exciting bit to add to the story: there are seven companies from our home town: Florence Healthcare, GROUNDFLOOR, Kanga, Partpic, Reveal Estate, Rivalry, Terminus and Vayando. We’re proud to see Atlanta doing big things in the South's startup ecosystem (and fingers crossed one will come home with the prize money.)
We will be there to cheer on ATL's finest and report back on other kick ass early-stage companies in the Southeast. You should think about coming too. Find out more and snag a ticket.
